Troy Cheese is the author of the  street certified urban poetry book Fresh Cheese. Stop here please! Before you open your mouth to say anything to the contrary the truth is …yes, I may be a bit biased when it comes to this book written by my cousin. However, I will still ask, “May I have some Fresh Cheese Please?” Just note, that I may sale out, but I will never sell-out just to just to have my reputation tainted over a bogus review. Everyone who knows the Cheese family will tell you that when it comes to our personal views, “We tell it like it is.” Simply put if a man has a name with the  initials TLC within what else do I need to say?

The Synopsis

There are great poets, and there are legends that live amongst us. Troy Lamont Cheese is definitely a legend in his own right. With the release of his first book of poems released under the Xlibris branding Troy takes the poetical sphere to another level with his heart felt limericks, rhymes and odes. He does the world justice as he writes about everything from love, drugs, STD’s, and everything else you may wonder about in life. The book begins with a tell-all type of feel that will leave your jaws gaping as you are overcome by a wave of emotion. For example the author states,

“I went through hell and hot water, and I proved I was able.

Though I took care of my family, my wife was unfaithful!

Since my accident, I have been butchered and slaughtered!!

Though she was unfaithful, she got my two sons and one daughter.

Without my kids, I got no lovin.

It’s not the fact that she cheated, she cheated with my cousin!”

Unlike most poetry books which simply reflect upon life in general. Fresh Cheese makes the cut by serving up a myriad of topics based upon the author’s actual life. Serving his words like Fresh Cheese upon a silver platter at a Le Grande Buffet Troy writes for the common people warning them against unjust pleasures, the heartaches and pain which he endured himself while serving a fifteen-and-a-half year federal sentence. Troy even goes as far as writing about the plagues within his life from troubles from drunkenness, to losing a son, and dealing with lies and deception.
